The Eastern Partnership Business Forum was held in Warsaw

The Eastern Partnership Business Forum was held on April 15–16, 2025, at PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, bringing together high-level representatives from European Union member states and Eastern Partnership countries to explore current trends in economic cooperation, shared regional priorities, and prospects for future collaboration.

 

The event was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and organized within the framework of the #PolishPresidency of the Council of the European Union.

 

The forum featured a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Marks Prawda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland; Michał Baranowski, Deputy Minister representing the European Commission in Poland; Katarzyna Smyk, Chairman of the Ministry of Development and Technology of Poland; Paweł Kowal, Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine under the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland; Andrzej Dycha, President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH); and H.E. Nargiz Gurbanova, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Poland.

 

In his address, the President of PAIH highlighted Poland’s key role in promoting initiatives aligned with European standards and reiterated the importance of deepening regional economic cooperation. He emphasized that such cooperation plays a vital role not only in business development but also in ensuring regional stability amid global uncertainties.

 

As a long-standing initiative launched by Poland, the Eastern Partnership continues to serve as a strategic platform for advancing the EU’s political and economic integration. The 2025 forum emphasized topics such as free trade zone development, digital and green transitions, and the long-term economic resilience of the region.

 

From Azerbaijan, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and InvestBaku participated in the forum, engaging with international counterparts to strengthen bilateral and multilateral economic ties.
