Komissar Kadri Simson: “Biz təmiz enerjini Aİ və Azərbaycan arasında münasibətlərin mühüm hissəsinə çevirdik”

Martın 1-də Bakıda Avropa İttifaqının energetika məsələləri üzrə komissarı Kadri Simsonun sədrliyi ilə Aİ-Azərbaycan Yaşıl Enerji Məşvərət Şurası çərçivəsində nazirlərin 2-ci iclası keçirilib.
İclasın məqsədi Aİ və Azərbaycan arasında bərpa olunan enerji sahəsində tərəfdaşlığı gücləndirmək və ümumilikdə energetika üzrə əməkdaşlığa yeni istiqamətlər verməkdir.
Azərbaycana səfəri zamanı Komissar Kadri Simson Avropa Komissiyasının dəstəyilə Azərbaycanın Bərpa Olunan Enerji Mənbələri Dövlət Agentliyi və Avropanın “WindEurope” şirkəti arasında külək enerjisi sahəsində əməkdaşlığa dair Anlaşma memorandumunun imzalanmasında iştirak edib. Bu əməkdaşlığın regionda təmiz enerjiyə keçidin təşviqinə kömək edəcəyi və Avropa üçün mümkün yeni bərpa olunan enerji mənbələri yaradacağı gözlənilir.
Komissar Kadri Simson bildirib ki, nazirlərin iclası çərçivəsində Aİ-də fəaliyyət göstərən külək enerjisi şirkətləri ilə Anlaşma memorandumunun imzalanması “olduqca vacib addımdır”.
“Aİ və Azərbaycan arasında enerji sahəsində strateji əməkdaşlığın tamamilə uyğun və dinamik olduğunu gördük” , – Energetika üzrə komissar Kadri Simson deyib. “2019-cu ildə yalnız qaz sahəsində əməkdaşlıq imkanları var idi. Bu gün artıq belə deyil. Cənub Qaz Dəhlizi layihəsi bərpa olunan enerji və elektrifikasiya üzrə əməkdaşlıq forumuna çevrilib. Bu, əla nəticədir və bu layihənin perspektivli və gələcəyə açıq olduğunun sübutudur. Biz təmiz enerjini Aİ və Azərbaycan arasında ikitərəfli münasibətlərinin mühüm hissəsinə çevirdik”.
