AYİB Azərbaycanın daşımalar şirkətinə 38,7 milyon avro kredit verib

Avropa Yenidənqurma və İnkişaf Bankı (AYİB) Azərbaycanın dövlət yük və sərnişin daşımaları şirkəti olan Azərbaycan Xəzər Dəniz Gəmiçiliyi (ASCO) şirkətinə 42 milyon dollar (38,71 milyon avro) məbləğində kredit verib.
Regionda ən böyük daşımalar şirkətindən biri olan ASCO bu pul vəsaitlərini beynəlxalq sularda yüklərin daşınması və ticarət donanmasının fəaliyyətini genişləndirmək üçün iki ədəd “Handysize” tipli quru yük gəmisinin alınmasına sərf edəcək.
Yeni yük gəmiləri Mərkəzi Asiya və Cənubi Qafqazı qlobal bazarlarla birləşdirən genişləndirilmiş Orta Dəhliz boyunca Azərbaycanın həlledici ölkə mövqeyini möhkəmləndirməyə dəstək olacaq.
AYİB həmçinin gəmiçilik sektorunda dekarbonizasiya problemlərini daha yaxşı həll etmək və ASCO-nun dayanıqlılıqla əlaqəli ilk maliyyələşmə alətlərinə yol açmaq üçün şirkətin ətraf mühit sahəsində korporativ idarəçiliyini və açıqlama siyasətlərini təkmilləşdirməkdə ona dəstək verəcək.
AYİB Azərbaycanda mühüm institusional investordur və burada ölkə iqtisadiyyatının şaxələndirilməsini dəstəkləmək üçün 189 layihəyə 3,6 milyard avrodan çox sərmayə yatırıb.
