The EU project implemented by UNDP held the first “Ideathon on Agrinnovation” in Lankaran among young people in the field of agriculture. The Head of Cooperation of the EU Delegation Victor Bojkov participated in the event along with the chairman of the Agrarian Services Agency and UNDP Resident Representative to support the youth.
The main purpose of the 3-day competition (2-4 June) was to apply innovation and encourage innovative ideas in the cultivation and processing of fruits and vegetables. 18 teams from different regions of Azerbaijan put forward their ideas and three teams: Innovet, Zafer, and Victory are the winners.
The European Union continues its support for youth development through various projects.
