Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev yanvarın 21-də Davosda Avropa İttifaqının Genişlənmə üzrə komissarı Marta Kosla görüşüb.
"Operativ Məlumat Mərkəzi-OMM" xəbər verir ki, söhbət zamanı Marta Kosun ötən il Azərbaycana, o cümlədən Qarabağa səfəri və dövlətimizin başçısı ilə görüşü məmnunluqla xatırlandı. Marta Kos işğaldan azad olunmuş ərazilərimizdə aparılan bərpa-quruculuq işlərinin onda dərin təəssürat hissi yaratdığını bildirdi.
Görüşdə Azərbaycanla Ermənistan arasında münasibətlərin normallaşması və sülh gündəliyinin irəlilədilməsi ilə bağlı fikir mübadiləsi aparıldı. Eyni zamanda, enerji, regional nəqliyyat bağlantıları, humanitar minatəmizləmə və digər sahələrdə əməkdaşlıq məsələləri müzakirə olundu, ölkəmizin Avropanın enerji təhlükəsizliyinə verdiyi töhfəyə toxunuldu.
Marta Kos Avropa İttifaqının Azərbaycanın humanitar minatəmizləmə sahəsində fəaliyyətinə, həmçinin Naxçıvanın dəmir yolu xəttinin bərpası layihələrinə dəstək göstərməyə hazır olduğunu qeyd etdi.
Söhbət zamanı Azərbaycanla Avropa İttifaqı arasında bir çox sahələrdə əməkdaşlığın daha da genişləndirilməsi üçün böyük perspektivlərin olduğu vurğulandı və bu istiqamətdə fikir mübadiləsi aparıldı.
